She continued to teach several of her own classes throughout her high school years. As a student of Crescent Lake Christian Academy in Excelsior Springs, Missouri, she served as choreographer for two high school musicals. She graduated from Crescent Lake in 2004 as Valedictorian. She went on to study dance and psychology at Stephens College and graduated Summa Cum Laude with a BS in Psychology in 2008. While studying abroad, she became a member of the Dance Society at the National University of Ireland in Galway. While continuing to teach at the studio, Chelsea also pursued her Masters degree and graduated with honors in 2011 with a Master of Arts in Counseling. Chelsea's background of Christian education continues to be reflected while she works as a role model with her students and demonstrates her passion for dance.
